Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Quighaichthys rotundiventris (Wu & Chen 1979) -- (Kottelat 2012:103 [ref. 32367]). •Valid as Triplophysa rotundiventris (Wu & Chen 1979) -- (Zhu 1989:125 [ref. 17744], Wu & Wu 1992:226 [ref. 21205], Zhang et al. 1995:68 [ref. 22734], Zhu 1995:119 [ref. 25213], Prokofiev 2006:580 [ref. 28811] but probably a synonym of T. zaidamensis, Zhang et al. 2016:143 [ref. 34477], Feng et al. 2020:468 [ref. 37576]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa rotundiventris (Wu & Chen 1979). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: upper Jinshajiang River drainage, Qinghai Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
