Current status: Valid as Pomadasys unimaculatus Tian 1982. Haemulidae: Haemulinae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Myanmar, Andaman Sea and Malaysia east to South China Sea. Habitat: marine.
