C.] 1982:250, Fig. 36 [Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society v. 75 (no. 3); ref. 8451] Between Makulawe Point and Ndomo Point, western coast of Likoma Island, Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], southeastern Africa, 12°02'S, 34°43'E. Holotype: BMNH 1981.1.9.96. Paratypes: BMNH 1981.1.9.97-100 (4); USNM 226819 (1). •Valid as Labidochromis lividus Lewis 1982 -- (Maréchal 1991:213 [ref. 20944], Konings 2016:281 [ref. 34521]). Current status: Valid as Labidochromis lividus Lewis 1982. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Malawi. Habitat: freshwater.
