Paratypes: BMNH 1978.5.16.38-42 (5), 1978.5.16.43-48 (6), 1978.5.16.49-58 (10), 1978.5.16.59-64 (6, stained). •Valid as Brycinus minutus (Hopson & Hopson 1982) -- (Seegers et al. 2003:35 [ref. 28087], Boden & Geelhand de Merxem 2024:28 [ref. 40817]). •Valid as Brachyalestes minutus (Hopson & Hopson 1982) -- (Stiassny et al. 2023:600 [ref. 40595]).
