Current status: Valid as Dactyloscopus foraminosus Dawson 1982. Dactyloscopidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Florida (U.S.A.); Pará south to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). IUCN (2014): Least Concern Habitat: marine.
