Type catalog: Gilbert 1998:192-193 [ref. 23395]. •Synonym of Chasmistes liorus Jordan 1878, but a valid subspecies as described -- (Sigler & Sigler 1996:142 [ref. 25943], Gilbert 1998:193 [ref. 23395], Scharpf 2006:8 [ref. 30386], Page & Burr 2011:306 [ref. 31215], Page et al. 2013:79 [ref. 32708], Ehlo et al. 2019:110 [ref. 39642]). Current status: Synonym of Chasmistes liorus Jordan 1878. Catostomidae: Catostominae. Distribution: North America: Utah (U.S.A.) [if valid.] Habitat: freshwater.
