Type catalog: Weber 1998:12 [ref. 32707]. •Status uncertain -- (Huber 1992:261 [ref. 20639]). •Valid as Rivulus iridescens Fels & de Rham 1981 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:19 [ref. 9708], Lazara 2001:277 [ref. 25711], Costa in Reis et al. 2003:537 [ref. 27061], Costa 2006:139 [ref. 28875] in subgenus Cynodonichthys, Valdesalici & Schindler 2011:313 [ref. 31673] in subgenus Cynodonichthys). •Valid as Anablepsoides iridescens (Fels & de Rham 1981) -- (Costa 2011:243 [ref. 31655], Costa 2013:346 [ref. 32528], Nielsen 2016:166 [ref. 34861], Valdesalici & Gil 2019:152 [ref. 37074]). Current status: Valid as Anablepsoides iridescens (Fels & de Rham 1981). Rivulidae: Rivulinae. Distribution: Upper Amazon basin, Peru. Habitat: freshwater.
