qiongzhongensis, Liniparhomaloptera disparis Zheng [C.-Y.] & Chen [Y.-Y.] 1980:91 [99], Fig. 2 [Acta Zootaxonomica Sinica v. 5 (no. 1); ref. 4838] Wanquan River, Qiongzhong Xian, Hainan Island, China. Syntypes: IHASW 76-V-9621 to 24 (4), 76-V-9626 (1); JNU 76-V-9629 to 30 (2), 76-V-9632 (1), 76-V-9634 (1). English description on p. 99. Species spelled qiongzhengensis in key and qiongzhogensis in caption to figure 2, but spelled qiongzhongensis in main account and English summary. The spelling qiongzhongensis is regarded as correct. •Synonym of Liniparhomaloptera disparis (Lin 1934), but a valid subspecies qiongzhongensis Zheng & Chen 1980 as described -- (Zheng 1981:55 [ref. 22557] as qioungshengensis, Chen in Kuang et al. 1986:157 [ref. 26639], Zheng in Pan et al. 1991:264 [ref. 23876], Zhu 1995:130 [ref. 25213], Chen & Tang in Yue 2000:448 [ref. 25272], Tang & Chen 2000:5 [ref. 25445], Zhang et al. 2016:160 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Liniparhomaloptera qiongzhongensis Zheng & Chen 1980 -- (Kottelat 2012:65 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:194 [ref. 32989], Wu et al. 2016:280 [ref. 34909]). Current status: Valid as Liniparhomaloptera qiongzhongensis Zheng & Chen 1980. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Hainan Island, China. Habitat: freshwater.
