Spelled pumilus in main heading and in several places in text, as pumilis in Fig. 536. The specific name is given as a noun. •Valid as Lubricogobius pumilus Larson & Hoese 1980 -- (Hutchins 2001:43 [ref. 25847], Larson & Murdy 2001:3598 [ref. 26293] as pumilis, Manilo & Bogorodsky 2003:S119 [ref. 27377]). •Valid as Larsonella pumilus (Larson & Hoese 1980) -- (Randall & Senou 2001:11 [ref. 25241] as pumila, Hoese & Larson 2006:1662 [ref. 29097], Larson 2022:113 [ref. 39971], Parenti 2021:191 [ref. 38603] as pumila). Current status: Valid as Larsonella pumilus (Larson & Hoese 1980). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Somalia, Seychelles; northwestern Australia; Ryukyu Islands (Japan).
