L.] 1979:44, Fig. 3-4, 6b [Bulletin of Marine Science v. 29 (no. 1); ref. 6986] 6 miles south of La Parguera at edge of island shelf, Puerto Rico, depth 75 meters. Holotype: ANSP 138115. Paratypes: ANSP 134333 (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:111 [ref. 13621]. Lipogramma is feminine, so correct species spelling is regia as originally proposed. •Valid as Lipogramma regia Robins & Colin 1979 -- (Robins & Ray 1986:148 [ref. 23100], Gilmore & Jones 1988:439 [ref. 12879] as regium, Mooi & Gill 2003:1373 [ref. 27062] as regium, Page et al. 2013:134 [ref. 32708] as regium, Baldwin et al. 2018:138, 152 [ref. 35754], Tornabene et al. 2018:91 [ref. 36382], Robertson et al. 2020:155 [ref. 38098]). Current status: Valid as Lipogramma regia Robins & Colin 1979. Grammatidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic. Habitat: marine.
