Current status: Valid as Pseudochromis tauberae Lubbock 1977. Pseudochromidae: Pseudochrominae. Distribution: Western Indian Ocean: East Africa (Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya) east to Comoros and Madagascar. Habitat: marine.
