Holotype: BMNH 1977.1.10.54. Paratypes: BMNH 1977.1.10.55-59 (5). •Valid as Haplochromis nanoserranus Greenwood & Barel 1978 -- (van Oijen et al. 1991:148 [ref. 20956]). Current status: Valid as Haplochromis nanoserranus Greenwood & Barel 1978. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Victoria. Habitat: freshwater.
