Type catalog: Bart & Taylor 1993:63 [ref. 20906], Sabaj et al. 1997:281 [ref. 23225]. •Synonym of Percina caprodes (Rafinesque 1818), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Page 1983:50 [ref. 22189], Thompson 1985:14 [ref. 17281], Robison & Buchanan 1988:447 [ref. 23393], Cross & Collins 1995:236 [ref. 23394], Page & Burr 2011:529 [ref. 31215]). •Valid as Percina fulvitaenia Morris & Page 1981 -- (Thompson 1997:10 [ref. 23154], Nelson et al. 2004:137 [ref. 27807], Scharpf 2008:38 [ref. 30399], Near et al. 2017:303 [ref. 35622]). Current status: Valid as Percina fulvitaenia Morris & Page 1981. Percidae: Etheostomatinae. Distribution: South-central U.S.A. Habitat: freshwater.
