Not available, seen in the literature (see Scharpf 2008:31 [ref. 30399]). Appeared as a nomen nudum in meeting abstracts in 1994 and 2003 and in print in Sloss et al. 2004:547 [ref. 31536]. Appeared with one included species sellare as a subgenus of Etheostoma. No description and not described as new. •In the synonymy of Etheostoma Rafinesque 1819, subgenus Mooreichthys Stephens, Johnson & Grady 2014. Nomen Nudum. Current status: Synonym of Etheostoma Rafinesque 1819. Percidae: Etheostomatinae.
