Type by original designation (also monotypic). •Synonym of Etheostoma Rafinesque 1819, but a valid subgenus Mooreichthys Stephens, Johnson & Grady 2014. Current status: Synonym of Etheostoma Rafinesque 1819. Percidae: Etheostomatinae.
