Type by original designation (also monotypic). •Valid as Acapoeta Cockerell 1910 -- (Lévêque & Daget 1984:217 [ref. 6186], Poll & Gosse 1995:167 [ref. 24781], Vreven et al. 2016:[1] [ref. 34168]). •Possibly a synonym of Labeobarbus Rüppell 1835 -- (Borkenhagen 2017:296 [ref. 35158]). Current status: Valid as Acapoeta Cockerell 1910. Cyprinidae: Torinae. |
