Bleeker specimens: BMNH 1880.4.21.150 (1). •Valid as Aspericorvina jubata (Bleeker 1855) -- (Trewavas 1977:368 [ref. 4459], Kottelat et al. 1993:119 [ref. 23448], Sasaki in Randall & Lim 2000:621 [ref. 25122], Sasaki 2001:3128 [ref. 26108], Kottelat 2013:357 [ref. 32989], Yoshida et al. 2013:153 [ref. 34464], Parenti 2020:6 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Valid as Aspericorvina jubata (Bleeker 1855). Sciaenidae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Gulf of Thailand, Sumatra and Borneo. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.

Current status: Synonym of Aspericorvina jubata (Bleeker 1855). Sciaenidae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
