Syntypes: (3) BMNH 1898.11.12.25 (1), BMNH (1, skeleton); MRAC 129 (1). •Valid as Genyomyrus donnyi Boulenger 1898 -- (Gosse 1984:70 [ref. 6169], Poll & Gosse 1995:131 [ref. 24781]). Current status: Valid as Genyomyrus donnyi Boulenger 1898. Mormyridae. Distribution: Central Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
