Plus additional non-type material. •Valid of Kathetostoma binigrasella Gomon & Roberts 2011-- (Vilasri 2013:89 [ref. 33304], Gomon 2015:1487 [ref. 34298]). Current status: Valid as Kathetostoma binigrasella Gomon & Roberts 2011. Uranoscopidae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: New Zealand region. Habitat: marine.

Current status: Valid as Kathetostoma laeve (Bloch & Schneider 1801). Uranoscopidae. Distribution: Australia: southern Queensland, New South Walses, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Habitat: brackish, marine.
