Current status: Synonym of Pachypops fourcroi (Lacepède 1802). Sciaenidae. Habitat: freshwater.

Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:151 [ref. 13621]. Named for Mrs. A. A. Campos, correct epithet would be camposae, not to be corrected according to the ICZN. •Valid as Pachypops camposi Fowler 1954 -- (Chao 1978:42 [ref. 6983]). •Synonym of Pachypops trifilis (Müller & Troschel 1849) -- (Casatti 2002:10 [ref. 25936], Casatti in Reis et al. 2003:600 [ref. 27061], Parenti 2020:37 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Synonym of Pachypops trifilis (Müller & Troschel 1849). Sciaenidae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.

Current status: Valid as Pachypops pigmaeus Casatti 2002. Sciaenidae. Distribution: South America: Amazon River basin in Branco and Madeira River drainages (Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
