Syntypes: (several) ZMUL, ZMB 18260 (2). Additional material: (several) ZMUC West Indies. •Valid as Paraclinus grandicomis (Rosén 1911) -- (Springer 1955:436 [ref. 10206], Robins & Ray 1986:225 [ref. 23100], Williams 2003:1760 [ref. 27109], Nelson et al. 2004:164 [ref. 27807], Patzner et al. 2009:464 [ref. 30396], Page et al. 2013:170 [ref. 32708], Smith-Vaniz & Jelks 2014:68 [ref. 33341]). Current status: Valid as Paraclinus grandicomis (Rosén 1911). Labrisomidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: southern Florida (U.S.A.) and Bahamas south to Barbados, including northern Caribbean Sea. Habitat: marine.

Holotype (unique): ANSP 69720. Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:62 [ref. 13621]. •Synonym of Paraclinus grandicomis (Rosén 1911) -- (Springer 1955:436 [ref. 10206]). Current status: Synonym of Paraclinus grandicomis (Rosén 1911). Labrisomidae. Habitat: marine.
