Actual: Hmoain pool, 7.5 mies southwest of Einme, Ayeyarwaddy River drainage, 16°47'51"N, 95°04' 04"E, Ayeyarwaddy Division, Myanmar. Holotype: NRM 48010. Paratypes: CMK 16914 (500); NRM 48011 (51), 48012 (25 c&s); ZRC 46901 (40). Type locality given in Britz 2010:67 [ref. 30925]. •Valid as Parasphaerichthys lineatus Britz & Kottelat 2002 -- (Kottelat 2013:455 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Parasphaerichthys lineatus Britz & Kottelat 2002. Osphronemidae: Luciocephalinae. Distribution: Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
