Current status: Valid as Pseudogoniistius nigripes (Richardson 1850). Latridae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: Australia (New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia) and occasionally New Zealand. Habitat: marine.
