Spelled diplaemia by Cope 1868:162 [ref. 7316]. •Synonym of Lythrurus umbratilis (Girard 1856), subspecies cyanocephalus Copeland 1877, but more likely is Phoxinus erythrogaster (Rafinesque 1820) -- (Gilbert 1998:71 [ref. 23395]). •Synonym of Chrosomus erythrogaster (Rafinesque 1820). Current status: Synonym of Chrosomus erythrogaster (Rafinesque 1820). Leuciscidae: Laviniinae. Habitat: freshwater.
