A-B) [Occasional Papers of the Museum of Zoology University of Michigan No. 619; ref. 10418] Small tributary of the Río Mocorito, 0.9 miles north of San Benito, Sinaloa, Sinaloa, northwestern Mexico, 25°32'N, 107°46'W. Holotype: UMMZ 177266. Paratypes: (184) UMMZ 177267 (1, allotype), 184874 (77, 1 c&s), remainder unaccounted for. •Valid as Poeciliopsis lucida Miller 1960 -- (Rosen & Bailey 1963:137 [ref. 7067], Espinosa Pérez et al. 1993:52 [ref. 22290], Lucinda in Reis et al. 2003:570 [ref. 27061], Nelson et al. 2004:105 [ref. 27807], Lucinda & Reis 2005:43 [ref. 29205], Miller 2006:245 [ref. 28615], Scharpf 2007:21 [ref. 30398], Page et al. 2013:110 [ref. 32708], Meyer 2015:291 [ref. 34698], Huber 2019:128 [ref. 36941], Conway et al. 2019:114 [ref. 37045]). Current status: Valid as Poeciliopsis lucida Miller 1960. Poeciliidae: Poeciliinae. Distribution: Pacific slope of Mexico. Habitat: freshwater.
