(or Pakistan, Gilgot-Baltistan, Yasin River at 8500 ft.). Holotype: ZSI F14181. Type catalog: Menon & Yazdani 1968:125 [ref. 20743], Menon 1987:219 [ref. 14149]. Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Triplophysa yasinensis (Alcock 1898) -- (Menon 1987:217 [ref. 14149], Talwar & Jhingran 1991:515 [ref. 20764], Menon 1999:192 [ref. 24904], Rafique 2000:325 [ref. 25220], Prokofiev 2001:194 [ref. 26613] dated 1889, Mirza 2003:17 [ref. 27265], Prokofiev 2007:7 [ref. 28990], Prokofiev 2010:896 [ref. 31096], Usharamalakshmi et al. 2018:6 [ref. 36315]). •Valid as Indotriplophysa yasinensis (Alcock 1898) -- (Kottelat 2012:86 [ref. 32367], Bleher 2018:138 [ref. 36647]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa yasinensis (Alcock 1898). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Pakistan and Ladakh and Kashmir, India. Habitat: freshwater.
