M.] 1905:417 [Zoologische Jahrbücher, Abteilung für Systematik, Geographie und Biologie der Tiere (Jena) v. 22 (no. 4); ref. 15364] Between present Itiso and Kwa Mtoro, most probably west of Mbuyuni, about 5°26'S, 31°51'E, East Africa. Lectotype: ZMB 13545 [ex BMNH 1905.7.25.54-56]. Paralectotypes: (34) BMNH 1905.7.25.54-56 (3), FMNH 54290 [ex CM 2921] (1).
