Plus other material. •Synonym of Gnatholepis cauerensis (Bleeker 1853), but a valid subspecies pascuensis Randall & Greenfield 2001(as described) -- (Randall 2005:19 [ref. 28161], Randall 2005:536 [ref. 28239] as cauerensis). •Valid as Gnatholepis pascuensis Randall & Greenfield 2001 -- (Randall 2009:179 [ref. 30558], Larson & Buckle 2012:5, 49 [ref. 32272]). Current status: Valid as Gnatholepis pascuensis Randall & Greenfield 2001. Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeastern Pacific: Easter Island. Habitat: marine.
