phoenicurus, Parosphromenus Schindler [I.] & Linke [H.] 2012:402, Figs. 3-4 [Vertebrate Zoology v. 62 (no. 3); ref. 32321] Langgam (about 40 km southeast of Pekanbaru), ca. 0°11'N, 101°38'E, Province of Riau, Sumatra, Indonesia. Holotype: MTD 32808. Paratypes: MTD 32809-32813 (5). •Valid as Parosphromenus phoenicurus Schindler & Linke 2012 -- (Kottelat 2013:456 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Parosphromenus phoenicurus Schindler & Linke 2012. Osphronemidae: Macropodusinae. Distribution: Sumatra, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
