L.] 2018:[3], Figs. 1, 3-5 [Journal of Fish Biology v. 93 (no. 5); ref. 36140] Tributary of Rio Branco, near the Parque Nacional dos Campos Amazônicos, Rio Branco basin, Manicoré, Amazonas, Brazil, 8°25'26.02"S, 61°46'7.52"W. Holotype: MZUSP 121925. Paratypes: MCP, MZUSP. •Valid as Pimelodella bockmanni Slobodian & Pastana 2018 -- (Cortés-Hernández et al. 2023:186 [ref. 40208]). Current status: Valid as Pimelodella bockmanni Slobodian & Pastana 2018. Heptapteridae: Rhamdiinae. Distribution: South America: western Amazon River basin (Brazil and Colombia). Habitat: freshwater.
