Paratypes: ZMB 21335 (1) •Synonym of Acanthophthalmus cuneovirgatus Raut 1957 -- (Burridge 1992:177 [ref. 19452]). •Questionably a synonym of Pangio cuneovirgata (Raut 1957) -- (Kottelat & Lim 1993:215 [ref. 21437]). •Valid as Pangio robiginosa (Raut 1957) -- (Doi 1997:15 [ref. 22832], Kottelat 2012:39 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:184 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Pangio robiginosa (Raut 1957). Cobitidae. Distribution: Java, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
