Current status: Valid as Acantopsis bruinen Boyd, So, Thach & Page 2018. Cobitidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mekong, Mae Khlong and Tapi River basins, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Habitat: freshwater.
