Current status: Valid as Allips concolor McCosker 1972. Ophichthidae: Ophichthinae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: east coast of India east to northern South China Sea, north to Taiwan, south to northern Australia. Habitat: brackish.
