Paratypes: CAS 50638 (9); ICNMNHN 6735 (2); UF 128785 (2), 33687 (2), 33717 (23), NRM 27040 (2), 33375 (6), 36102 (1). •Valid as Apistogramma alacrina Kullander 2004 -- (Römer et al. 2004:29 [ref. 34102], Römer 2006:404 [ref. 28970], Römer et al. 2011:331 [ref. 31674], Mesa S. & Lasso 2011:104 [ref. 31958], Schindler & Staeck 2013:306 [ref. 33110], Staeck 2017:31 [ref. 35639], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:97 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Apistogramma alacrina Kullander 2004. Cichlidae: Cichlinae. Distribution: Amazon and Orinoco river basins, Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
