Also in Daget & Iltis 1965:208, Fig. 130 [ref. 13626]. •Valid as Micropanchax rancureli (Daget 1965) -- (Huber 1982:69 [ref. 20638]). •Valid as Aplocheilichthys rancureli Daget 1965 -- (Berkenkamp & Etzel 1982:71 [ref. 30501] dated 1964, Wildekamp et al. 1986:183 [ref. 6198], Romand in Lévêque et al. 1992:623 [ref. 21590] as rancurelli, Dankwa et al. 1999:43 [ref. 28023] as rancurelli, Lazara 2001:45 [ref. 25711]). •Valid as Poropanchax rancureli (Daget 1965) -- (Huber 1999:53 [ref. 25500], Huber 1999:59 [ref. 23835], van der Zee et al. 2019:9 [ref. 37017]). Current status: Valid as Poropanchax rancureli (Daget 1965). Procatopodidae: Procatopodinae. Distribution: West Africa: eastern Liberia, Ivory Coast, western Ghana. Habitat: freshwater.
