Original genus should have been Aplodactylus. •Valid as Aplodactylus etheridgii (Ogilby 1889) -- (Paulin et al. 1989:201 [ref. 24556], Francis 1993:164 [ref. 25479], Russell 2000:2161 [ref. 28805], Burridge 2000:2180 [ref. 28806], Bray & Hoese 2006:1354 [ref. 29049], Duffy & Ahyong 2015:115 [ref. 36167], Stewart 2015:1346 [ref. 34196]). Current status: Valid as Aplodactylus etheridgii (Ogilby 1889). Aplodactylidae. Distribution: Southwest Pacific: Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, northern New Zealand, Kermadec Islands. Habitat: marine.
