Current status: Valid as Apogon seminigracaudus Greenfield 2007. Apogonidae: Apogoninae. Distribution: Western Pacific: eastern Malaya (Malaysia) east to Philippines, Fiji and Tonga, north to southern Japan and Ogasawara Islands. Habitat: marine.
