Paratypes: CAS-SU 22230 (24, 1 c&s); USNM 74491 (5), 74493-95 (1, 11, 3), 74497-98 (1, 1). •Valid as Artediellus fuscimentus Nelson 1986 -- (Nakabo 2000:642 [ref. 25086], Nakabo 2002:642, 1526 [ref. 26001], Shinohara et al. 2011:43 [ref. 31715], Shinohara et al. 2014:248 [ref. 33330], Shin et al. 2016:209 [ref. 34833], Kim et al. 2020:101 [ref. 39118], Sonoyama et al. 2020:89 [ref. 37637]). Current status: Valid as Artediellus fuscimentus Nelson 1986. Psychrolutidae: Psychrolutinae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
