nigrocorpa, Balitora Nguyen [V. H.] 2006:594, Fig. 29 [Freshwater fishes of Vietnam v. 2; ref. 29730] Lô River, Hà Giang Province, Vietnam. Holotype: RIA 1. Paratype: RIA 1 (1, Bac Ninh) (lost). Spelled nigrocopa in caption to Fig. 29; that spelling regarded [by W.N.E.] as a alpsus [misspelling] as nigrocorpa would be correctly formed. Genus as Sinohomaloptera in caption to Fig. 29; Balitoria as used in the main heading regarded as the correct original genus. Types at RIA 1 [= NCNTTSI] are lost according to Endruweit 2014:144 [ref. 33205]. •Valid as Balitora nigrocorpa Nguyen 2006 -- (Bhoite et al. 2012:3039 [ref. 32191]). •Qestionably a synonym of Balitoria kwangsiensis (Fang 1930) -- (Kottelat 2012:45 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:185 [ref. 32989]). Spelled songamenis on p. 603; Kottelat acts as first reviser selecting songamensis. Types at RIA 1 [= NCNTTSI] are lost according to Endruweit 2014:144 [ref. 33205]. •Valid as Hemimyzon songamensis Nguyen 2006 -- (Kunlapapuk et al. 2012:119 [ref. 32192]). •Questionably a synonym of Balitora kwangsiensis (Fang 1930) -- (Kottelat 2012:45 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:186 [ref. 32989]).
