Also in Herre 1924:1569 [ref. 2120] but without distinguishing features; available as above. •Valid as Puntius katolo (Herre 1924). •Valid as Barbodes katolo Herre 1924 -- (Kottelat 2013:78 [ref. 32989], Jamandre 2023:165 [ref. 40455]). Current status: Valid as Barbodes katolo Herre 1924. Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Philippines. Habitat: freshwater.
