Paratypes: AMNH 10697 (2). •Questionably a synonym of Acrossocheilus iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927) -- (Wu et al. 1977:289 [ref. 4807], Kottelat 2013:71 [ref. 32989]). •Synonym of Acrossocheilus iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927) subspecies iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927) -- (Jin in Kuang et al. 1986:117 [ref. 26639]). Current status: Synonym of Acrossocheilus iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927). Cyprinidae: Acrossocheilinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
