Apparently an unneeded new name for Cyprinus barna Hamilton 1822. •Objective synonym of Barilius barna (Hamilton 1822) -- (Menon 1999:13 [ref. 24904]). •Objective synonym of Opsarius barna (Hamilton 1822) -- (Kottelat 2013:131 [ref. 32989]).
