Even if Bertin & Estève 1948:68 [ref. 19574] are correct in dating this plate to 1841, this predates Leuciscus apiatus Valenciennes 1844. •Synonym of Barilius bendelisis (Hamilton 1807) -- (Menon 1999:15 [ref. 24904] as bendilisis).
