Holotype: USNM 119898. Paratypes: (25). •Synonym of Bathygobius ramosus Ginsburg 1947 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:259 [ref. 22193], Parenti 2021:104 [ref. 38603]). •Synonym of Bathygobius ramosus Ginsburg 1947 but a valid subspecies longipinnis -- (Miller & Stefanni 2001:147 [ref. 26034], Del Moral-Flores et al. 2016:611 [ref. 34923]). Current status: Synonym of Bathygobius ramosus Ginsburg 1947. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Habitat: marine.
