Current status: Valid as Beaufortia pingi (Fang 1930). Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Xijiang and its branch Nanpanjiang River, China. Habitat: freshwater.

Holotype (unique): MMNHN 1544. •Valid as Beaufortia zebroidus (Fang 1930) -- (Zheng et al. 1989:257 [ref. 21202], Chen & Tang in Yue 2000:504 [ref. 25272], Tang & Chen 2000:7 [ref. 25445], Zhang et al. 2016:158 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Beaufortia zebroida (Fang 1930) -- (Kottelat 2012:59 [ref. 32367]). Current status: Valid as Beaufortia zebroida (Fang 1930). Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Xijiang River, China. Habitat: freshwater.
