Original as fraser-brunneri. •Synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906) -- (Paxton 1979:6 [ref. 6440], Hulley & Duhamel 2010:274, 275 [ref. 30745]). Current status: Synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906). Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Habitat: marine.

Holotype (unique): ANSP 68366. Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:313 [ref. 13621]. •Questionably a synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906) -- (Paxton 1979:6 [ref. 6440]). •Synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906) -- (Hulley & Duhamel 2010:274 [ref. 30745]).
