Also appeared as new in Kner & Steindachner 1864:42, Pl. 5 (fig. 3) [ref. 2649]. •Valid as Brycon chagrensis (Kner 1863) -- (Howes 1982:20 [ref. 14201], Bussing 1998:92 [ref. 24179], Lima in Reis et al. 2003:175 [ref. 27061], Angulo & Gracian-Negrete 2013:264 [ref. 32959]). Current status: Valid as Brycon chagrensis (Kner 1863). Bryconidae: Bryconinae. Distribution: Charges River basin, Atlantic slope of Panama. Habitat: freshwater.
