Type catalog: Vasil'eva et al. 2001:57 [ref. 25714]. Correct spelling of the genus is Coelorinchus. •Valid as Coelorinchus trunovi Iwamoto & Anderson 1994 -- (Jawad & Al-Mamry 2012:2 [ref. 31773] as turnovi, Prokofiev & Iwamoto 2020:246 [ref. 37882], Prokofiev & Iwamoto 2023:148 [ref. 40262]). Current status: Valid as Coelorinchus trunovi Iwamoto & Anderson 1994. Macrouridae. Distribution: Western Indian Ocean. Habitat: marine.
