macropterus, Labrus Walbaum [J. J.] 1793:33 [J. T. Kleinii ichthyologia enodata; ref. 12604] No types known. Labrus macropterus Walbaum 1793 is a senior homonym of Labrus macropterus Lacepède 1801 (= Centrarchus macropterus) but is here treated as a nomen oblitum. Nomen Oblitum. Habitat: marine.
