Not treated by Ferraris 2007 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Chaetostoma stroumpoulos Salcedo 2006 -- (Ferraris 2007:444 [ref. 29155], Lujan et al. 2015:666 [ref. 33975], Ballen et al. 2016:195 [ref. 34396] as strompoulos). Current status: Valid as Chaetostoma stroumpoulos Salcedo 2006. Loricariidae: Hypostominae. Distribution: Upper Huallaga River basin, Peru. Habitat: freshwater.
